In this page, you'll find all the frequently asked questions when engaging us as your Photographer / Videographer.
We wish for both parties (you and us) to have a fun and memorable time creating memories, as such here are some questions we would like to address should you have any concerns!

Basic Expectations
At DYADCONCEPT, we do not believe in holding back any good photos taken at a shoot or event. As such our photographers and videographers will edit all good photos and videos accordingly to be returned.
Punctuality: Our photographers and videographers are required to be punctual and will never be late. As to how early they arrive, please indicate to them if you have a requirement, else it will be up to their discretion, ranging from 15 to 30 mins. Please note that arriving earlier is the time for our photographers and videographers to settle down and prepare their equipment for shooting during your booked timing, do be kind to them and let them come to you once they are ready!
Engagement Duration: Our shoots are a minimum of 2 Hours. This gives the client and our Concept-ers enough time to interact, get comfortable and capture unique moments!
Lead Time & Deliverables
Quality over Quantity is not something we believe in. Both are equally important and a balance will be struck between the two.
We under-promise so that we can over-deliver.
Photography
All good photos will be edited and returned in JPGs.
No raw / filtered out photographs and camera RAWs will be provided, unless requested (additional charges may apply).
You can expect to receive up to 50 photos per hour for shoots and up to 80 photos per hour for events!
A personalized client gallery with your photos in high-resolution will be provided to you through a link and a download pin which will allow you to share these photos to those present, while giving you control over who you would like to have the right to download the photos.
Lead time varies, but the maximum wait you can expect would be up to one month. Our concept-ers aim to edit your photos to realize its best effect and ensure that every shot is your favorite! Let's be spoilt for choice when choosing that event display pic!
Videography
Our videos will be edited and returned in MP4.
No raw / filtered out videos will be provided, unless requested (additional charges may apply).
Bookings
Once the Time, Location and Duration of the shoot has been adequately discussed, and a booking is ready to be made, a booking fee of an hour's shoot is required.
Booking fees are non-negotiable & non-refundable.
Booking fee is to be paid through PAYNOW / PAYLAH with proof of payment to be provided.
Payment
Remaining payment to be made through PAYNOW / PAYLAH after the shoot / event. We want our photographers and videographers to focus on editing and providing the best quality photos and videos, and should not have to chase for payment.
Note: We do not recommend CASH and CHEQUE payment to prevent a situation where receipt is unclear.
Legal Issues
Copyright / License
All DYADCONCEPT photographers and videographers will need to regularly post his / her work on social media or update their portfolio to let potential clients understand their style and work, to inspire confidence in them. At DYADCONCEPT, we take great pride in the work of our photographers and videographers, and regularly review their work to ensure the highest quality photos and videos are delivered to our clients. They have our full confidence in selecting the work which demonstrates their skill, and if your photographer and videographer is posting all their work online, it means they are putting in their best effort for each client and are comfortable showcasing these hard work online.
By default, the copyright of photos taken by a photographer and videos recorded by a videographer belongs to DYADCONCEPT and the photographers and videographers themselves. Most photographers and videographers in this industry do not highlight this legal specificity because (1) it is general knowledge, (2) legal details may be overwhelming for clients who merely wish to engage services for their event or casual shoot and / or (3) the extensive discussion of such matters may deter potential clients.
At DYADCONCEPT, we set clear expectations to our photographers and videographers, that photos and videos used are only meant to build one's portfolio. Additionally, we enforce that all photos and videos set to be used in social media and website will be watermarked to protect the interests of our clients. We do not restrict the size and type of watermark as long there is clear intention to prevent the misuse of photos and videos.
As such, for clients who are not comfortable with photos and videos showcased on DYADCONCEPT and the individual photographer and videographer's social media and / or portfolio, an additional fee will be charged to compensate for the missed opportunity to generate greater interest from potential clients.
Furthermore, as the purpose of such photos being taken is to be viewed privately or shared publicly with friends and family, there are possibilities where it may be re-shared with others (with or without consent) or even screenshot by third parties. As such, our advice is to only take photographs which you are comfortable with being seen by someone else, should that happen out of your control.
